Since 1994 one of Richard Wolfgang's paintings of Mackinac Island has been selected and reproduced for the official Mackinac Island Lilac Festival poster. The same image is used for the Mackinac Island Tourism Bureau’s annual “Discover Mackinac” guide book and the “Locator Map.” These publications have introduced thousands of people to the artist's work.
